FACTORING

USDOT

EIN APPLICATION
The EIN requirements are specific in nature and necessary to indicate that a business is recognized in the United States as a tax paying entity. An EIN, also known as an Employee Identification Number or Federal Income Tax Identification Number.
UCR
Any motor carrier that needs a DOT number also requires a UCR. The UCR requires you to pay an annual fee if you operate commercial vehicles in international or interstate commerce. Your business must register in a participating state, which will likely be your base state. A base state is a state in which you primarily reside.
